Emerge yourself in the most stylish trend for this Spring/ Summer season at Gurney Plaza! Besides enjoying the cutting edge fashion shows, participating brands will also feature exclusive merchandise and promotions from 8-10 April 2016.
The fashion weekend kicks off with a launch party by GUESS and Superdry at 7.30pm, 8 April 2016. TV Personality, Sarah Lian will host the shows featuring unique fashion collections from both global brands. With the mixture of young, sexy and adventurous lifestyle, GUESS has a complete line of apparels and accessories while Superdry is an exciting contemporary brand which focuses on high-quality products that fuse vintage Americana and Japanese-inspired graphics with a British style. To hype up the event, the guests will be entertained with a special appearance by Malaysia’s famous singer and rapper, Hunny Madu.
On 9 April 2016, there will be Ready- to- Wear fashion showcase by Fashion Fast Forward brands- Dorothy Perkins, Warehouse and Miss Selfridge at 1.30pm, followed by Swarovski Jewellery Show at 4.30pm. At 7.30pm, guests will see models sashaying in the latest Spring/ Summer collections by Coach.
Subsequently, Fashion Weekend continues with Marks & Spencer Fashion Show, which take place at 2.00pm on 10 April 2016. Next, Bonia will join in the event by showcasing the season’s hottest trends. The Fashion Weekend concludes with the week’s most creative moment when students of Penang Equator College take the runway to present their very own designed and tailored made Ready-to-Wear collections.
