Job Title: Operation Manager
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall quality system in production, production planning and maintenance to meet the company quality objectives.
- Propose, plan and carry out plant development activities according to company’s goals and targets.
- Overlook all plant engineering activities inside the company premises.
- Ensure all equipment in the plant are running safely, efficiently, and economically.
- Coordinate with contractors for commercial and technical discussions for plant development activities.
- Coordinate with other departments – Laboratory, Maintenance, Warehouse, and QEHS &
Regulatory. - Responsible for the implementation of Quality Management System, Health & Safety Management System and Environment Management System, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instruction (WI) without compromise in operation area.
- Troubleshoot machine / equipment malfunction and establish the necessary corrective action plan.
- Manpower and capacity planning.
- Monitor and control the department budget.
- Monitor and improve process and production performance.
- Development of productivity, safety, quality, cost improvement strategies.
Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent preferably in manufacturing/engineering field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing field at managerial level preferrable.
- Experience in plastic extrusion operation, machine set-up and equipment preferrable.
- Good knowledge of technical background.
- Effective management and day-to-day operations of manufacturing.
- Ability to plan and manage the production line.
