The Asia Comic Cultural Museum, located at Level 2 ICT Mall Komtar opened its doors this week for visitors.
The Asia Comic Cultural Museum prides itself as an authentic cultural collection of comic.
The museum has a floor space of 13,000 square feet and features a collection of comics and art from around the region such as Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, China, Hongkong, Taiwan, Macau, Japan and Korea.
Items on display includes original artworks, digital and replicated artworks, published books, toys, models and comic merchandises that relates to the history and growth of comics in our region. The information are all displayed in 4 languages; Malay, English, Chinese and Tamil.
The museum solicited masterpieces from 250 reputed artists all over Asia, such as Tony Wong, Ma Wing-Shing and Zunar. There is even a replica construction of Tony Wong’s Dragon Tiger Gate.
The museum opens from 11am till 6pm, and admission tickets are priced at RM20 for non-Malaysians, RM15 for Malaysians and RM10 for students and seniors.
